Hello!  My name is Julia Shea. 

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Then I received a Master of Arts in Education at DePaul University in Chicago and an Early Childhood Education license from Illinois. 

I have been involved with the St. Joseph School for Autism in Oxford, England and been associated with the Escuela Paquita Ferrer de Figueres program in Costa Rica through the World Teach program at Harvard University.  I also worked in the Power Lunch Reading Program in Chicago. 

I am familiar with and most interested in project/product based education.  Last year, I taught kindergarten at City View and enjoyed the students so much, I decided to move up with them and will now be their first grade teacher!
