Enrollment for the 2008-2009 School Year
City View Charter School is a public school of choice.  Enrollment should be based on the family’s informed decision to voluntarily enroll their child/children.  It is paramount that parents have a basic understanding of Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound (ELOB), our academic program, as well as other key factors and expectations that will be an aspect of all that makes up our school community.

In order to make an informed decision about enrolling your child/children, you will need to have a good understanding of the following:

Some things you can do to familiarize yourself with the above are:

  • Visit the school and meet the staff
  • Investigate the information on this website
  • Explore the Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound (ELOB) website
  • Peruse websites of other Expeditionary Learning schools; these links can be found on the ELOB website.

Each year City View Charter School will hold four enrollment phases.  If there are more students enrolling than there are spaces in that grade, a lottery will take place.  City View Charter School  classrooms will serve a maximum of 22 students per grade, with classes for Kindergarten and grades1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and a blended classroom for grades 7/8.
