City View Charter School

Fundraising Opportunities

If you shop at Albertson’s, a portion of every purchase will be donated to City View.  All you have to do is register City View Charter School as a Community Partner on your Preferred Savings Card, or pick up an Albertson's Community Partner card at the school office and have it scanned as you check out.

If you shop at Target, take these three easy steps to help City View earn a few extra dollars:

1.       Apply and get approved for a REDcard.

2.       Enroll in Take Charge of Education and choose a school.

3.       Start shopping with your REDcard.

Target will track purchases made by participating REDcard holders, then send a no-strings-attached donation check directly to the school.

Sign up for eScrip to have participating business partners (i.e. Safeway, Burger King, etc.) contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to City View. Visit the eScrip family of merchants for a complete list of participants in the program.

The SCRIP program allows supporters of City View to purchase cards for everyday expenses like food, clothing, and entertainment.  A percentage of each dollar spent using the SCRIP cards is received by City View as revenue.  This “no-selling” fundraiser is effective because families generate revenue through purchases they would make anyway. Our community of ~150 families easily spends between one and two million dollars per year on food, clothing and other essentials. If our families use SCRIP for these purchases, we can raise as much as $40,000 to $80,000 per year for City View --without spending an additional penny. Offering freedom of choice and versatility, SCRIP cards are also great gift ideas for anyone and any occasion.

SCRIP order forms must be submitted to the SCRIP coordinator by Tuesday of each week.  SCRIP cards will be available at the school office on Friday afternoon for pick-up.

The Box Tops for Education fund-raising program offers some great opportunities for our school.  We are working towards raising $1,000 this year, but we need your help.

There are now four ways to participate:

1.       Clip and bring in Box Tops (worth 10¢ each) from hundreds of participating products, and City View can redeem the funds from the Box Tops program. Collection boxes are available in each classroom.

2.       Utilize the Box Tops - My Class Essentials to view your child’s classroom registry, purchase the items that are needed or donate money to the classroom registry. The classroom, students and teachers get the items they need and our school earns a 2% cash donation on every purchase.

3.       Use the Box Tops - Marketplace to shop your favorite online stores, and up to 8% of each qualifying purchase is donated to City View.

Shop for all your book needs at the Box Tops - Reading Room (purchases made through Barnes & Noble), and earn up to 6% of your purchases for City View.

NEW!!  We will be participating in the Tyson Project A+ label program (each label is worth 24¢).  Look in your grocer's freezer section for Tyson Products that display the Project A+ logo. The label you save is easily identified by looking for the simple 1, 2, 3 program steps. Be sure to submit the entire label from Tyson the third week of each month. Don’t forget to ask your friends, relatives, and neighbors to donate their lables to you as well.

NEW!!  Earn free books for our classrooms by participating in the SunnyD and Scholastic Book Spree. Just collect UPC labels from select SunnyD products, and then drop them in the fundraising box in your child‘s classroom. For each 15 valid SunnyD UPC labels, we will earn 30 FREE books from Scholastic. For every 30 UPC labels submitted, we will receive $250 (while supplies last)!
