Please join us on Saturday from 10 until 12 noon for some school fun at Skate World.  The tickets are $10 per family or $5 for a student and $1 of each large soda purchased will go back to the school!  Tickets may be purchased at the front office or at the door on Saturday morning. All students must have an adult chaperone, please do not leave your child with out supervision.  This will be a great ending to our Spirit Week. 

We are in the last 3 days of the Read-a-Thon and I hope everyone has enjoyed their 300 minutes of reading!

Just some last minute reminders: 

* Check the catalog or website to create your wish list.  Remember you get 50% of your pledges earned in credit towards books.  

* Collect your pledge money and bring it with your wish list to the school office NO LATER than Wednesday March 17th. For pledges paid by check, please make payable to Mindy Haroon

Please remember that Thursday, March 18^th is a half day.  Spring Break starts on March 19^th through the 24^th.  The office will be closed during the break.

City View's 5th Annual Reach for the Stars Auction is coming April 24th. We will be back at Meriwether Golf Course for our event. The evening will include Silent and Oral Auctions, a catered meal, entertaining banter from Bag and Baggage, and many opportunities to support and celebrate our school.  This is a great time to invite your friends to come enjoy an evening out with you.  Buy your tickets now on the City View Website.

You can also support the school by bringing in donations from businesses you like.  Use the donation letter attached to this email to make your request, our school's Tax ID number is on the letter and will serve as a receipt for their tax deductible contribution.  The business will get exposure at our school and their name in an advertisement in the Argus thanking our supporters, you will get an entry into our fabulous Magic Star drawing, and our kids will get P.E., music, computer and art programs.  Donations must be received by Friday April 2nd.

The Auction Committee will be meeting Monday March 15th at 7p.m..

We now have a new option for families to pay fees or donate money directly to the school.  On our website you will find a “Payments” button.  You can use this to pay fieldwork fees, kinder fees or to buy auction tickets.  As you are processing your payment there is a comment area to leave any information you may want about your payments. For example if you are making multiple fieldwork payments

The next Parent Organization Meeting will be held on April 8^th at 6:00pm.

There have been a few electronic items lost recently that are in the front office.  If your student has lost anything please have them see Becky at the front office and be able to describe the items. 

Our lost and found is piling up again.  Please take a few moments to look through the items and see if anything belongs to your children.  All items left at Spring Break will be donated to the Salvation Army.

To date the school has raised $40.62 by recycling our Carpi Suns.  Thank you to Tina and Teresa for organizing this with the students.

Tuesday, March 16^th at 8:50 there will be an all school assembly with the 5^th grade presenting.  All parents are welcome to attend the assembly.
