Volunteering
How can I become a volunteer?
- Review the Volunteering Slides: Start by familiarizing yourself with our volunteer expectations and opportunities.
- Take the Volunteer Quiz: All parent volunteers must complete this quiz to ensure an understanding of our guidelines.
- Review the Chaperone Code of Conduct: Agreement to this code is required and will be part of your background check application.
- Complete SB 155 Abuse and Sexual Conduct Training: All volunteers must pass this training.
- Pass a Background Check: This final step ensures the safety of our students.
Join the Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee plays a crucial role in our success, organizing events throughout the year to unite our community and raise funds for various programs. Opportunities include:
- Original Art (October)
- Wolf Walk (September)
- Plant Sale (Spring)
- Auction (April)
Join the committee to help plan or lead these fundraisers.
Help in the Classroom
We always need parents to assist in the classroom. If you cannot be physically present, teachers can also use your help with class projects from home. Contact your child’s teacher for specific opportunities.
Be a Fieldwork Driver and Chaperone
Fieldwork is vital to our curriculum, and much of it relies on parents driving students. To participate, ensure you have a current background check on file.
Assist in the Art Room
Art room volunteers support students in meeting learning targets, discussing their work, preparing and organizing materials, and keeping projects running smoothly.
Help on the Playground During Recess or PE
Volunteers are needed to supervise and engage with students during recess or PE. Contact the front office for more information.
